Handwriting - Below are some handwriting activities for you to complete. Activity 1 -  Cursive letter cards ( a - d). Activity 2 - 10 of the first 100 frequency words to copy using the cursive handwriting style.
Please refer carefully to the handwriting style used and look at the Benwick cursive alphabet model. I have attached a file with handwriting paper which can be printed off at home. Alternatively, we can provide you with handwriting books/paper packs. These can be collected from the school office.

Maths:

Remember to do 10 minutes of TT Rockstars every day!

Daily Calculations:
This week we'd like you to do your calculations in a different way, by playing a game.
 Year 1: Games 1-3
Year 2: games 1-5
You could print off the bingo cards or write the number sentences in your book.
Ask an adult to play with you and check your answers - have fun!

Daily maths lessons: These might look a bit different, we want to keep things varied and interesting. Mrs Talbot & Mrs Piper are planning the maths for Doves.
There is a separate PDF for each day for each year group this week!

TOPIC:

PE-National Bike week 6-14th June

Cycling has been a great release for many families during the pandemic and we hope you’ll continue to enjoy cycling with the family and celebrate by taking part in the Bike Week festivities between 6-14 June. It’s your chance to celebrate all that’s great about cycling.

The latest Government rules say although we have to maintain our social distancing and be at home where we can, unlimited exercise is now permitted.

To help keep families active during this time Cambridgeshire Road Safety Officers are promoting Cycling UK’s free Bike Week resource pack with indoor and outdoor activities you can do as a family. From cooking to colouring, to bike challenges, it’s got it all.
