Herons Week 7

WEEK 7 HOME LEARNING

Note from Mrs Talbot - Headteacher
We know everyone's circumstances are different. Your child does not need to do all of the work listed here. Please try to do some daily reading, writing and maths as a minimum. We thank you for all you are doing!

Contacting teachers: Please use dojo to contact teachers Monday-Fri 9am-3pm - thank you.
Additional Resources:
In addition to the weekly learning, linked to our school curriculum planned by teachers above, you may be looking for additional activities - here are some good places to start:

BBC Bitesize:
Beginning Monday 20 April, BBC Bitesize will publish daily online lessons for all ages. There will also be a new dedicated TV channel full of learning content, podcasts on BBC Sounds and loads of educational video on iPlayer.

The Home Learning Hub. This website is free for all users. This site shares some of the best free home learning resources that the internet has to offer. You will find pages for different subject areas and resources for children aged 4-11.

As well as links to some of the best external sites, the team of Cambridgeshire advisers has created a wonderful range of free activities, challenges and projects for children to try at home. We hope you find the resources helpful, the advisers  aim to keep adding to this website for the duration of the school closures, so please keep checking back to see what's new.

Guinness World Records!!!!!

I wonder if anyone at Benwick can become a Guinness World Record holder for TTRockstars?

You are invited to attempt a Guinness World Records title by answering as many times tables questions correctly as you can in one minute.

Guinness World Records has created a new title - Highest score achieved on ‘Times Tables Rock Stars’ in one minute - and they're looking for players to aim for this special accolade.

Good Luck!
Miss Angell :)
