Robins week 12
Week 12 - English
Reading - Our book this week is The Paris Adventure. Click on the link and answer the questions below.
Handwriting - Below is a handwriting activity for your child to complete - Read Write Inc Letter Formation (v -z). You will find the Read Write Inc Handwriting Rhymes, along with a YouTube link, on Week 9 Home Learning Page.
Please refer carefully to the handwriting style used and look at the Benwick cursive alphabet model too (also on Week 9 Home Learning Page). Children can complete the activity on the printable worksheet or use the handwriting paper which can be printed off at home. Alternatively, we can provide you with handwriting books/paper packs. These can be collected from the school office.
Miss Wakefield - English Lead
Over the next two weeks we will be learning about the story of the 'Hungry Caterpillar'. Please use the resources as a dip in and use. You can do the activities in your child's book or on paper if you don't have access to a printer. Please try to undertake some of the activities on the literacy power point. If you have any questions please just ask.
Year 1 Robins children. This week for your maths and for the last few weeks of term please look at the Doves page for the maths your child can undertake. Our Year 1 children are in the Doves bubble during this time and to be consistent we would like all of our Year 1 children to undertake the same learning to help them prepare for next year.
We have our ongoing Forest Schools ideas for out topic. We have added our construction lego ideas as a recap of drop in activities. We are continuing to learn about materials and their properties with the addition of life cycles linking to the story. For PSHE you will find a water safety activity below. You can also see new P.E. ideas this week.
