Week 13 - English
Creative Writing - Writing this week is continuing with The Paradise Garden.
Reading - Reading this week is based on a comprehension text called 'Rubbish'.
Grammar - Identifying clauses
Spellings - Year 5/6 spellings are below. You should practise spellings by writing them out and then using them in creative sentences. Use the following website to help with the learning and pronunciation of words: www.spellzone.com
Handwriting - Continue with the fluency and speed handwriting pack (on Week 9 home learning page). Please refer carefully to the handwriting style used and look at the Benwick cursive alphabet model (also on Week 9 home learning page). I have attached a file with handwriting paper which can be printed off at home. Alternatively, we can provide you with handwriting books/paper packs. These can be collected from the school office.

Topic - Week 13
This week I have decided to plan more Art activities. I know many children enjoyed the Art set last week, and with it being so near to the end of term, I wanted to set the children work that they would enjoy that is less formal. The Art focus is Central and South America. Each day focuses on a different artist, before completing a linking activity. Again, I know that every household will have different resources available, therefore please adapt the activities to suit you.
This weeks' PSHE focuses on our feelings and making choices.
This weeks PE is a dance focus.
Please continue using YUMU.
