I have been a resident of Benwick for the past 20 years and have had children in Benwick Primary School for the last 14 years, I currently have 2 children attending Benwick Primary School. I work in the public sector and have done so for the past 11 years, most recently in a supervisory position. My job has provided me with training and experience dealing with safeguarding of vulnerable people including children, as well as dealing with children and adults when they are at their most vulnerable. I have been a governor at Benwick since 2011 with a year's break in 2017, I am currently Chair to the governing body and have 9 years’ experience in that position.
