This is our class Kindness Calendar. Each day, in December, a child's name (or two) will be pulled out of the calendar. Everyone in class must make an extra special effort to show kindness towards that person/people.
What a Wonderful World!
Our topic this term is 'What a Wonderful World'.
In Science, we are focussing on the objectives from Year 4, 5 and 6 for Living Things and their Habitats. Hopefully, there will be opportunities to venture out into our local community to explore some habitats!
In Geography, we will be comparing the UK to the Amazon rainforest in South America. We will be looking at human and physical geography, whilst developing our map skills.
Here are some pictures of our Maths and English working walls.
Homework this term will consist of reading, times table and spelling practice. Homework will be set on a Friday, and children will be tested on their spellings and times tables the following Wednesday.
Please find a spelling booklet below that children can use to practise their spellings. There are many different activities the children can try. Children will be familiar with these booklets as they have used them at school.
Please find a reading question sheet below that includes questions to ask your children during reading at home.
