Speech, Language and Communication Resources

I CAN's talking point can give parents/carers the information they need to help  children develop their speech, langage and communication skills. If a child has difficulty in speaking, they may need some help, or they may struggle at nursery or school. With the right help they can develop the skills they need. Please see the links below which give advise and ideas for parents and carers. Their website can be accessed here

Cambridge Community services have so much useful information on their website which can be accessed here.
Please note that in the first instance, if you are concerned about your child's speech, you should speak to the class teacher who will pass your concern on to the SENCo. The SENCo will then speak to the speech and language therapist (SALT) at the half termly planning meeting.

Please note the self- referral forms are only for use for pre-school children.
